About Me
Hi! My name is Lyra (Emma-Lotta) Bartsch and I'm a clinical Psychosexologist. I attained my BSc in Psychology at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 2021. I then decided to specialize in clinical Psychosexology and moved to Italy, where I completed my MSc in Clinical Psychosexology at Sapienza University in Rome in 2024. I have since started working as a freelance sexologist and sex and couples counselor.
In my work, I use elements of systemic sex therapy and mindfulness-based approaches with a client-focused perspective, using empirically supported methods to help each individual client or couple in a way that works best for them. I am LGBTQ+ educated and I work with a high sensitivity to culturally and/or sexually diverse backgrounds and interests. I offer my services in both English and German.
Sexuality can be a difficult topic to talk about, so I am very passionate about breaking taboos and promoting sexual and relational well-being through open communication. To do this, I also offer workshops in sexual empowerment, setting and maintaining boundaries, and sexual communication.
